Project and Programme Management Courses FAQ
Which project or programme management qualification should I choose?
If you are new to projects, Project Management for Non Project Managers or APM PFQ is a good starting point. If you need a widely recognised method for structured projects, PRINCE2 is often the first choice. If you want a broader, method independent view, APM PMQ may suit you better. For complex change or portfolios of projects, MSP and Change Management become more relevant. We can talk through your situation and suggest an appropriate route.
Do your courses include the exam?
Many of our PRINCE2, AgilePM, APM, APMG and other accredited courses include the relevant exam as part of the package, while some offer the option to add the exam separately. The individual course page will confirm what is included.
Do I need previous project management experience?
Foundation level courses such as Project Management for Non Project Managers, APM PFQ and PRINCE2 Foundation assume little or no formal project management experience, although some exposure to projects is helpful. Practitioner and higher level courses expect that you have worked in a project role and understand the basics. Each course description outlines recommended prerequisites.
Can you run these courses just for our organisation?
Yes. Any of our project and programme management courses can be delivered as a closed session for a single organisation, either virtually or onsite. This allows us to tailor examples, discussions and emphasis to your frameworks, governance and project types.
Will the training be relevant to my industry?
The methods we teach, such as PRINCE2, AgilePM, MSP and APM, are designed to be applied across sectors. Our trainers use examples from a wide range of industries, and in closed company courses we incorporate your own projects and language so that the content feels directly relevant.
