During this course, you will gain a basic understanding of three of the most commonly used Microsoft Office programmes: Word, Excel and Outlook. The training will consist of interactive activities and trainer demonstrations.
This course is designed for people who wish to learn the basic operations of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to perform their day-to-day responsibilities and who want to use the applications to be more productive in their work. This course will provide participants with little to no experience in Microsoft Office with the knowledge needed to attend our Level 1 IT Office Applications courses.
By actively participating in this course, you will learn about the following:
Navigate the Word, Excel, and Outlook programmes.
Open, close, and save documents and workbooks.
Open, reply to and, forward emails.
Create new documents, workbooks, and emails.
Manipulate and format text and data.
To be successful in this course, you should be familiar with using personal computers and have used a mouse and keyboard. You should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to launch and close programmes and navigate to folders and files stored on the computer.
Software Requirements for Virtual Classroom
Delegates will need to have Microsoft Visio 2013, 2016 or 2019 installed on their PC to participate in Virtual Classroom courses; Visio 365 Web App, Visio Plan 1 and Visio Plan 2 are not suitable for this course.
