This interactive one-day course will provide managers with knowledge and skills needed to ensure robust management of fire safety in the workplace. Topics covered include the legal framework, the creation of fire safety policy and fire strategy documents, and an in-depth look at the fire risk assessment process.
We will also explore best practice on the design of escape routes, the provision of information, management of hazardous materials, and provision of fire protection systems. Lastly, we will consider the human element of fire safety by learning how to identify people at risk, create a PEEP, and improve fire safety awareness at a cultural level.

A good standard of written and spoken English are essential for this course. Attendees should also possess a good understanding of general risk assessment and safety inspection processes.
