By participating in the IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course, learners can further cement their understanding of the requirements for effectively and safely leading and managing businesses. The course revisits critical topics, reinforcing the importance of safety leadership and the application of safety management principles in everyday business operations.
Our expert trainers are also practising H&S and fire safety experts with experience of working in and providing support to organisations in multiple organisations, enabling them to bring real life scenarios to life. This course is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
The IOSH Managing Safely Refresher is specifically designed for those who have successfully completed the IOSH Managing Safely course. While the IOSH Managing Safely Certification does not technically expire, IOSH recommends that learners undertake the Refresher course every three years. This is to ensure that their knowledge and skills remain current, especially considering the dynamic nature of health and safety regulations and practices. Participants will be required to provide evidence of completing an IOSH Managing Safely® course.

Participants must have previously successfully completed the IOSH Managing Safely® course. A reasonable level of English language proficiency is essential. All course participants will receive an IOSH Managing Safely Refresher workbook which will be provided in advance by post if attending through our Virtual Classroom or by the trainer at our Training Centre or Onsite at your workplace.
If you are attending through our Virtual Classroom, you will need a laptop or PC with a webcam and Microsoft Teams installed. All other course materials and activities will be sent electronically before the course.
If you are attending this course in our Training Centre or Onsite at your workplace, you do not need to bring anything with you except for a notepad and pen. All other course materials will be provided by the trainer.

All delegates must successfully complete and pass a multi-format assessment paper, which will be taken at the end of the course. Delegates will have an opportunity to discuss the assessment with their trainer, and mock assessment questions are available.
